Types of filaments
Different types of
filaments for different jobs
Using the right type of filament is crucial for the success of the print. PLA, PET-G, and others all have differents strengths and weaknesses.
PLA
Cheap and biodegradable, easy to print. Not suitable for impact/stress and
damaged by UV light
PET-G
Our specialty! Stronger and tougher than PLA, but much tougher to print!
ABS
Also a specialty! Superior strength and durability, but challenging to print,
requiring specialized equipment.
Exotics
Carbon fiber, wood, soap, candles, plant food, if it's out there, we'll try it :)
